Bill Crofton is a classically trained, experienced photographer who, besides understanding the art of photography, is technically proficient, skilled in lighting, and easy to work with. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an Associate of Arts degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta, to which he received a full scholarship. He was also taught by Ansel Adams in his last master class in Carmel, California, and by Richard Avedon in his master class in Atlanta.

His years of experience have made Bill a versatile photographer who can confidently handle any assignment. Unfailingly polite and easy-going, Bill’s communication and people skills are an asset in dealing with the people and details involved in a photo assignment. His resume of photos speaks for itself.
Bill is based in the Hartford, Connecticut area. Besides photography, he enjoys growing different delicious veggies each year in his vegetable garden and riding Connecticut’s scenic bike trails with his family.
